Klic has made educational and documentary videos in a variety of fields including anthropology, health care, and teacher training. Two members of our team are awarding winning documentary filmmakers, so we bring a finely honed storytelling sensibility to each and every project.
Jennifer Rodes won a Golden Apple award for her documentary Trekking on Tradition which is currently distributed by DER films. Trekking on Tradition explores the effects of mountain tourism on a small village in rural Nepal and the often ironic nature of the resulting cross-cultural encounters.
A few of Klic’s completed projects include:
- A series of anthropological videos consisting of 36 half-hour episodes, designed to supplement the chapters of a state-of-the-art textbook published by Thompson/Wadsworth.
- A DVD to accompany Cenage Learning’s Academic Toolkit Books. This video highlights best practice teaching methods for language arts teachers in classes with less than proficient English language skills.
- A bi-lingual (Spanish and English) narrative episodic video series to promote health care amongst diabetics, produced for U.C.L.A. hospital.
- A complete smart board training video series to instruct teachers in Smart board usage for 2it Education solutions.
