Klic was founded in 1996 by Jennifer Rodes, B.A. in French, UCLA 1982, Master’s in Visual Anthropology, USC 1992. She is an award winning filmmaker with a culturally sensitive approach to video production.
A polyglot fluent in French and Spanish with a working knowledge of both German and Italian, Ms. Rodes has succeeded in integrating her passions for language and travel into her prolific video career. She is one of those rare individuals who has found her true calling in the educational and documentary filmmaking domain, making her enthusiasm for her work positively infectious. Clients come away from meetings with her knowing they are in excellent hands, and that collaborating with her will be a professionally satisfying AND fun-filled experience.
Ms. Rodes’s penchant for organization coupled with her perfectionist’s attention to detail, make her the ideal executive producer. Need script ideas for documentary segments on service organizations in Central America? Been there. Need a crew to capture the beauty of the remotest regions of the Galapagos Islands? Done that. Need to navigate the thorny business of location permits in major European capitals? No problem whatsoever.
Her knowledge of all technical aspects of camera, sound and non-linear editing only serve to enhance her engagement with the task at hand. She is truly a hands-on executive; nothing escapes her watchful eye.
For Jennifer Rodes, creating videos that both teach and entertain, educate and engage, is truly her life’s work. Partnering with her is an adventure you won’t want to miss.
